The skip rate isn't something that's provided by Spotify currently (although that's going to change later in the year). Spotify provide us with the track length and also with the number of seconds the track was streamed for. From that we're able to work out whether a track was skipped or not and then give those skip streams as a percentage of overall streams. Currently we class anything over 95% of the full track length as a stream, anything below that as a skip. It's also worth noting that Spotify only report streams over 30 seconds in length so any streams that are skipped before that point are not counted in our skip rate.
