Beatport is a digital music store focusing on releases in the Dance and Electronic genres. In order to deliver your AWAL releases to Beatport you must:
- Select Dance or Electronic as the primary genre for your release on step 4 of the Uploader
- Select a Main Extended Dance Genre. Note: This dropdown will automatically appear in the Uploader once you select Dance or Electronic as your primary genre
- Have a label registered at Beatport through AWAL. The label you have registered with Beatport must be the label name you use in your metadata (step 4 of the Uploader)
If you already have a Beatport label registered through another distributor, we’ll need to claim the label for you on Beatport before we can deliver your releases there. Please read more about this process here.
If you need to register a new Beatport label, please reach out to us via the Contact Us page on your Portal with the following information:
- A 500 x 500 Beatport label logo
- A Beatport label name
Once we have a Beatport label associated with your AWAL account, we can begin delivering your Dance and Electronic releases to Beatport.
