AWAL currently delivers your music to Facebook and Instagram by default with a variety of consequences, including the Instagram Stories Music feature. You can learn more about these consequences here. Not all content is eligible for delivery to Facebook though as any recording delivered to Facebook must be distinct and unique.
The following types of content would not be considered distinct and unique and thus recordings containing any of the below are not eligible for delivery to Facebook:
- Production loops & soundbeds
- Soundalikes including cover songs & remasters
- Classical compositions in the public domain
- DJ sets or continuous mixes
- Non-exclusively licensed content (you must have an exclusive license for any samples, recordings, etc. that you deliver with your products)
Note: Exclusive Licenses mean that no one else (person or company) other than the licensee can exploit the rights of that content.
Any recordings flagged to us by Facebook for containing any of the above content will immediately be taken down from Facebook. If 3 or more of your tracks are flagged by Facebook for containing the materials above, we will need to remove your entire AWAL catalog from Facebook and opt you out of delivery for future uploads.
If your recordings contain any of the above content please get in touch with us via the Contact Us page on your Portal before you upload your release so we can prevent ineligible content from being delivered to Facebook.
