Incorrect artist mapping is a common issue that happens across the digital services and for all distributors. If you share an artist name with other artists, it's possible for their releases to be incorrectly mapped to your artist page. If you notice another artist's release is incorrectly on your artist page on Apple Music/iTunes, we can help get that release removed from your page for you.
If a product that doesn’t belong to your repertoire is featured on your page, please reach out to us via the Contact Us page on your Portal with the following information:
- Apple Music/iTunes link to the product(s) incorrectly mapped
- Apple Music/iTunes link to the page which the product must be removed from
- Affected Artist Name
Once we have this information, we'll get in touch with Apple to have the release removed from your page. You should see the released removed from your page within 5 working days.
Note: Artist mapping issues do not affect your streaming data or royalties payments.
