When we deliver content updates, like artwork and metadata changes or perhaps an instant gratification track setup, we need to allow 10 working days for the changes to be ingested by all digital music services.
Services such as Spotify and iTunes have incredibly quick ingestion times, with content updates showing up within 48-72 hours, or less usually. While this is brilliant as Spotify and iTunes are often the main focus for the majority of AWAL members, we distribute to over 200 other digital music services. Many of these services will require 7-10 working days to ingest updates. To keep your releases consistent across all services, we need to allow for these longer ingestion periods.
