Release dates are selected during the upload process every time you submit a release for distribution. It’s possible to change release dates after you submit your product for delivery, but the methods to do so vary depending on what status your release is in:
- Pre-Approval: If your product isn't yet approved and is still on the landing page of your Uploader, we can send back the release to your Uploader for you to amend and re-submit. Simply request this via the Contact Us page, ensuring you specify the artist name, title and release date of the product so our team can identify it in the absence of product identification codes.
- Post-Approval: Once a product is approved and appears in the Catalogue tab on your Portal, we will be unable to return it to your Uploader for edits so any necessary changes will need to be made at our end, including release date changes. We'll need to make a release date change for you. We need 5-10 working days for a release date change to be ingested by all digital music services. Please send us the UPC of your product and desired new date via the Contact Us page on your Portal, and we'll make the change for you.
