It's quite common that a release date will need to be pushed back, it could be to allow for a more extensive marketing campaign or perhaps you've had an important show tied in with the release pushed back, for example. We can definitely help facilitate this.
Once a product is approved, we'll need to make this change for you. We need 5-10 working days for a release date change to be ingested by all digital music services. Send us the UPC and new date, and we'll make the change for you.
If for any reason you can't provide 5-10 working days, please still get in touch. Our team will be able to provide realistic advice based on how far away we are from release date.
If your product isn't yet approved, we can send back the release to you to amend and re-submit. Simply request this via the Portal, ensuring you specify the artist name, title and release date of the product so our team can identify it in the absence of product identification codes.
