If you receive a copyright infringement notice from your team, this means that a copyright claim has been placed against your music on a specific digital music service provider. Our email should specify which service the claim has been received by, and which of your releases are affected. It should also give you contact details for the person who lodged the claim.
If you do have digital distribution rights for the affected recordings, you should reach out to the person who placed the claim and resolve the issue. AWAL can't be involved in this, and if there is an ongoing dispute it needs to be handled and resolved without our involvement.
If you don't have have exclusive digital distribution rights to the recordings,
advise us immediately in reply to the copyright infringement notice email. The more information you can give us about why the content was uploaded the better, so we can look to improve our website and Knowledge Base to make it clearer what can and can't be uploaded.
