Whitelisting a channel on YouTube means it will be exempt from the claims we place as a result of a Content ID opt-in. You may need to whitelist your channel for a couple of reasons including if you monetize your channel via the YouTube Partner Program or if you more generally want to keep your channel ad-free.
If you’d like us...
to whitelist your YouTube channel, please complete this form
...and allow five working days for the change to take effect.
Please know there is no confirmation message involved when whitelisting has been successful but the process generally takes about 48 hours. You can read more about locating your YouTube user and channel IDs here.
Note: When we whitelist your YouTube channel it means we will no longer be monetizing any content on your channel.
We can only whitelist AWAL artists’ channels and we cannot whitelist any third party channels you may be working with for premieres or features. If you’d like a channel to be able to use your music in a video that fits this description, please contact us and we can look into releasing any claims on the video.
