Once you’ve uploaded your release to AWAL, you can monitor its status through the approval and delivery processes in your Portal.
Prior to approval, your release can be found on the Uploader's landing page where it will be reviewed for issues pertaining to metadata, low-quality artwork, additional contributor credits and more. If we locate any issues with your release, the release will be queried, placed on hold and will disappear from your Portal. We'll return your queried release back to your Portal along with an email message explaining the issues requiring your attention. To avoid having your release queried, please read the article Top 5 Reasons Your Releases Aren’t Approved the First Time for details on what to look out for before submission.
Once your release has been reviewed and approved, it will be removed from your Uploader. Moving forward, you can locate the release in the Catalogue tab on your Portal to confirm that it has been delivered to all digital services. Releases shown as Delivered mean that they’ve been approved and delivered successfully*.
*If your release is showing as delivered to iTunes, it has also been delivered to Apple Music.
