From time to time some users will run into errors when uploading audio files.
If this happens, please follow these steps:
First, check that the file specs adhere to the guidelines in our guide to Using the AWAL Uploader. Audio must be a 16 or 24-bit WAV file with sample rates between 44.1 and 96kHz.
If your files are up to specification, your internet speed could be the issue. Ideal upload speed is 4mbps or higher, not to be mistaken for download speed. We recommend testing at different times of the day in case your connection is periodically restricted.
If your internet connection is below the recommended upload speed we’d advise trying firstly on a different connection.
If none of the above works, please contact us via the AWAL Portal so we can investigate for you.
