Cumulative Scheduling is increasingly being used to schedule tracks with the aim of releasing them consecutively with different release dates in order to build one final product. This will help you maximize the impact of an individual track, build a final product (EP or album), and keep your artist page tidy on Spotify and similar stores.
The easiest way to approach the upload process is to upload the singles individually first. You can then use the Existing Tracks feature on the AWAL uploader to quickly build the album/EP product once all singles have been approved.
Please note, the Existing Tracks feature will only be available once your tracks have been approved. See our Guide to Timelines for more information about required approval and delivery lead times.
When setting up distribution, be sure to stagger your release dates as shown in the example below:
Nov 11th: Track 1
Nov 18th: Track 2
Nov 25th: Track 3
Dec 3rd: EP
Once the EP goes live on services, contact us via the Portal to issue a takedown on the single track products.
