Spotify has recently unveiled a Playlist Submissions tool. The new feature, currently in beta, lets artists and labels submit information about their releases to Spotify’s global editorial team. The tool aims to streamline the pitching process for Spotify's playlist curators, helping them to access information about new releases coming into the platform, and making it easier for playlist curators to discover new music and build the best possible playlists for the service.
AWAL has direct access to Playlist Submissions (what does this mean regarding direct access to Playlist Submissions? We use Spotify Analytics for our submissions too), but Artists and their teams can also make use of this new tool via Spotify for Artists. Labels can access the tool via Spotify Analytics.
