We deliver all recordings uploaded to AWAL to YouTube Music. These deliveries result in your music being available for YouTube Music subscribers to stream, and will also result in auto-generated videos on YouTube.
An Art Track is an auto-generated video on YouTube that contains your recording as well as a display of your release’s cover artwork. In the video’s description you’ll see metadata relating to your release, such as artist name, product title, copyright information, and release date. If your track is part of a larger work, such as an EP or album, YouTube will compile all the Art Tracks from that release into a ‘Playlist’.
Your Art Track videos will all live on a ‘Topic Channel’ which will be generated for you upon delivery of your first release to YouTube Music. This channel will display as ‘Your Artist Name - Topic’ and will house all the Art Track videos generated under that artist name.
Note: YouTube is currently switching off comments on Art Tracks.
We cannot edit or alter the display of the Art Track videos or their descriptions nor can we remove them from YouTube without taking down the release entirely. We also cannot have these videos moved to your standard artist channel, though you can request an Official Artist Channel which will consolidate all your channels into one.
