If you’d like to update your artist image and/or banner on Amazon Music, as well as the Amazon retail web, you should first ensure you have claimed your page on Amazon Music for Artists. You can read more about accessing Amazon Music for Artists here.
Once your page is claimed on Amazon Music for Artists, any Owner or Admin of your page can update your artist image by following the instructions below.
Important: Make sure your images fit Amazon’s specs and guidelines before attempting to upload them to Amazon Music for Artists.
Once images are submitted, your Amazon profiles should be updated within 48 hours:
Updating Your Images on the Amazon Music for Artists App (iOS/Android):
- Navigate to your Amazon Music for Artists app and select the artist you want to manage
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right hand corner
- Under Profile & Tools, customize both your Profile Photo and Background Image using their respective ‘edit’ buttons
- Choose image
- Resize your image within the app to represent how you’d like it to display
- Tap ‘Save’
Updating Your Images on the Amazon Music for Artists web page (Desktop):
- Navigate to Amazon Music for Artists and select the artist you want to manage
- Click Profile & Tools under ‘Artist Tools’ in the left side bar
- Under ‘Profile Details’, customize both your Profile Photo and Background Image using the editing tools
- Choose Image
- Resize your image within the app to represent how you’d like it to display
- Click ‘Save’
Amazon Music’s Artist Image Guidelines
- Images should be a JPEG or PNG
- Profile Photo must be at least 500x 500 pixels
- Background Image must be at least 1920 x 1440 pixels. The artist’s face should be in the upper 40% of the image, roughly centered horizontally.
- Image file must be no larger than 15MB.
- Avoid text, logos, violent material, and partial/explicit nudity
- You must have the rights to any image you upload to your profile. Please be sure to avoid using any copyrighted images or material in your profile and banner.
